Canadian rock band The Sheepdogs are currently one of two remaining finalists in the Rolling Stone Do You Wanna Be A Rock & Roll Star? contest presented by Garnier Fructis. The winner of the contest, which, over the course of six months has incrementally eliminated artists from a large pool down to sixteen – then eight – then four – and finally two, will be announced on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on August 1st.
The winning act will be the first ever unsigned artist featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and will also receive a recording contract with Atlantic Records! The Sheepdogs dropped by the studio while promoting the contest to record an acoustic set of songs including an amazing cover of CSNY’s “Ohio”. Check it out!
